Growing up for me was in a pretty normal Canadian middle-class family.  I learned what I needed to know and grew very thankful for it as I got older.  I’ve done most of the usual things in 60 years – travel, marry, build careers, get older, get a little smarter, get a little more at peace with things.  And now, as my technical life lays behind me, remembered as something that I once did and enjoyed, life is about music, writing, a bit of travel and enjoying those bits and pieces I missed along the way because I was, simply, traveling by too quickly to notice.

Nuclear radiation makes people go a bit strange, I've been told ...

It looks far more impressive with the air hose connected.

Three years ago, I couldn't pronounce it.  Now I is one.

I have strong moral and ethical streaks, often get totally consumed by my creative projects, don’t ‘do’ mainstream, am not impressed with fame or fortune, never go near computer games and I'm not a big fan of quizzes and trivia.  I'd rather write than read and I'd rather perform than listen.
